Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty Instructor to join our Engineering Technology department at Black Hawk College. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in various engineering technology courses, including electrical and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver high-quality instructional materials and presentations to enhance student learning
  • Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback
  • Maintain a safe and organized learning environment
  • Stay current with industry developments and advancements in engineering technology
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field with 2000 documented hours of related experience
  • Master's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field is preferred
  • Previous training or classroom instructional experience at an accredited institution is desirable
  • Demonstrated oral English proficiency for classroom instruction
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years documented hands-on experience with programmable, single-loop and distributed control instruments
  • Industrial experience in an engineering, engineering tech, electronic assembly, quality control, process control, industrial electrical maintenance, electrical supervision in an integrated Mechatronic discipline
