Job Overview

This full-time position as Product Owner is available at Prometheum. As a core member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for driving product development through market-leading enterprise solutions. With a competitive salary range of $170,000 - $220,000, this role offers excellent benefits and opportunities for growth within a remote work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, QA, and other stakeholders to ensure successful product development.
  • Manage business and technical requirements, ensuring timely feature deployment.
  • Contribute to product roadmaps by outlining functional requirements for various time frames.
  • Participate in SAFe PI Planning, breaking down complex business or technical requirement documents into actionable tasks.
  • Evaluate details within Epics/Stories/Tasks to ensure alignment with business and/or technical objectives.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party vendors, providing requirements, regular communication, and ensuring timely delivery of changes.
  • Interface with internal and external audiences, responding to product-related inquiries and requests.
  • Create UAT test plans and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with the Release Manager to design and maintain release notes and documentation.
  • Define and analyze metrics to inform product success.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience managing products through technical program delivery using common management structures.
  • Sufficient technical competency to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team on various technical issues.
  • A solid understanding of SDLC and modern web-application technologies.
  • Experience working with the Financial Services industry in Product Management or Product Ownership capacity.
  • Understanding of trading, securities, clearance, settlement, and custody.
  • Excellent verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with internal and external development teams.
  • Demonstrable technical writing experience.
  • Experience working with regulated applications (Financial).
  • Bonus: Experience with security testing and auditing, load/performance testing, and test automation would be beneficial.
