Job Summary:
The Cost Accountant position is a key role within our organization, responsible for providing financial analysis and support to our manufacturing operations. As a Cost Accountant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, while also providing insights and recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including operating reports, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
- Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Develop and maintain standard cost estimates, and provide recommendations for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Assist in the completion of the month-end close, including journal entries, order settlement, and variance reporting.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including special projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in cost accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office Excel and ERP systems.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated and detail-oriented individual, with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy.
What We Offer:
As a Cost Accountant with Creative Financial Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing organization, with a strong focus on financial analysis and business improvement. We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.
