Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and optimistic financial leader to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager at LBS Financial Credit Union. As a key member of our branch leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Member service and supporting the Vice President/Branch Manager in delivering the vision and leadership necessary to drive branch success.

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a team of branch associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Vice President/Branch Manager in providing vision and leadership to branch associates
  • Ensure the branch is exceeding Member expectations by empowering associates and maintaining a work environment that instills motivation, teamwork, and enterprising attitudes
  • Directly and indirectly supervise a branch team of any size and complexity
  • Meet individual and Credit Union specific goals
  • Step in as the branch leader in the absence of the Vice President/Branch Manager

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in the financial service industry preferred
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in supervision and/or management within a financial institution
  • Strong Member relationship building skills and ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to be productive, multitasked, results oriented, and with good computer aptitude
  • Thorough understanding of physical security, controls, standards and practices for cash/negotiable items/keys in the financial services industry
  • Previous experience and ability to train developing Member Service and Financial Service representatives in sound practices of their related job duties and responsibilities
  • Experience with writing and conducting employee performance evaluations and disciplinary actions, as well preparing employee skill assessments, performing skill observations and conducting employee coaching sessions

Pay Range

In accordance with California's Pay Transparency Act (SB 1162), the expected salary range for this position is between: $28.00 - $34.00

Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate's specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
