ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Oceanside Unified School District is dedicated to fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our Speech and Language Pathologists.

The following are key aspects of the role of a Speech and Language Pathologist in
Oceanside Unified:
- Regular departmental meetings to discuss best practices and strategies.
- Leadership provided by a fellow Speech and Language Pathologist.
- Access to funding for necessary therapy materials and professional development.
- Recognition of prior experience in educational or clinical settings.
- Collaboration with the Oceanside Teachers Association to ensure manageable caseloads.
ROLE SUMMARY:
Evaluate and identify individuals referred for speech and language delays, including articulation, voice, and fluency issues. Deliver specialized instruction and consultation services to assist students facing communication challenges. Track student progress, contribute to individualized educational programs (IEPs), and provide early intervention services for students not yet identified.
Qualifications and Requirements

- Valid California credential for Clinical Rehabilitative Services
- Speech Language Pathology Services Credential

- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
- Transcripts
