About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Boar's Head Brand. As a key member of our plant management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and direct the activities of production, sanitation, and maintenance teams to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of supervisors and lead persons to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing safety protocols and procedures.
- Participate in the development and implementation of quality management systems and processes.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to drive business growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food industry.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
