Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah. As a key member of our Women's Center, you will be responsible for performing radiographic mammography procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for breast tissue abnormalities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.
  • Perform radiologic mammography exams, including advanced procedures like stereotactic biopsies and drainages.
  • Demonstrate positioning competency and knowledge of breast self-examinations.
  • Operate mammographic equipment to produce diagnostic images of high quality.
  • Use radiation protection to ensure patient and staff safety, meeting ALARA program requirements.
  • Stay current on new procedures and equipment to maintain high skill levels.
  • Maintain records required by JCAHO and the Utah State Bureau of Radiation Control.
Requirements
  • ARRT registration.
  • Current Rad Tech license in the state of practice (not required in Idaho).
  • Meet and maintain mammography specific ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements.
  • Meet and maintain the ARRT Advanced Mammography Certification.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Imaging or Mammography.
Work Environment

This is a PRN (as needed) position with a variable schedule. The hourly range for this position is $52.55. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
