The Senior Architect position at Cyntergy is a senior-level role within the architecture team, responsible for overseeing and planning all architectural aspects of building design and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and strong leadership skills to lead and direct the work of others with a wide degree of creativity and latitude.

Job Summary

This is a high-level position that requires capabilities of overseeing entire projects through the architectural design and document production process. The successful candidate will have the ability to make decisions in significant architectural design problems and methods, regularly interpret and apply relevant codes, criteria, jurisdictional or other project factors into project documentation.

The Lead Architect will interact with clients in coordinating project and program requirements, actively supervise project budgets, schedules, and programs, project communications and documentation, and project team assignments to ensure the most efficient, cost-effective, and timely execution of assigned projects.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate project requirements with clients and stakeholders.
  • Make key decisions on architectural design problems and methods.
  • Apply relevant codes, criteria, and project factors into project documentation.
  • Supervise project budgets, schedules, and programs.
  • Ensure cohesive and coordinated design documentation and solutions.
  • Determine scope of work and estimate design fees.
  • Capture accurate project specifications.
  • Work closely with Quality Control Manager to ensure projects meet standards and accuracy.
  • Maintain relationships with clients through presentations and communication.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Familiarity with current design trends, materials, detailing, and construction practices.
  • Working knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, and associated rendering software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of sustainable design practices and/or LEED rating system.
  • Experience using Outlook and other MS Office software.
