Overview

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. We are seeking a skilled Nurse Resident to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.

Responsibilities

The Nurse Resident will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department. This includes:

  • Assessing patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Performing procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s).
  • Documenting the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Administering prescribed medications and monitoring patient response.
  • Providing exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests and anticipating patient needs.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Nurse Resident must possess:

  • A Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment.
  • An Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 1 year of employment.
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
  • A Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No previous experience is required, but some travel may be needed for training.
