- Evaluaciones de Comportamiento: Evalúa los temperamentos de los animales y lleva a cabo evaluaciones formales de comportamiento para perros.
- Equipos y Suministros: Mantén y reabastece equipos y suministros, asegurando que todo esté en óptimas condiciones.
- Cuidado Compasivo: Actúa como líder en procedimientos de eutanasia, llevando a cabo estos procedimientos de manera humanitaria y cuidando de los animales fallecidos.
- Desde computadoras y equipos médicos hasta herramientas para el manejo de animales, utilizarás una variedad de instrumentos para realizar tus funciones.
- Se proporcionará equipo de protección personal (EPP) para garantizar tu seguridad al manejar animales y productos químicos.
- Prepárate para levantar y mover animales y suministros, a veces hasta 40 libras.
- Espera estar de pie durante períodos prolongados y, ocasionalmente, escalar, agacharte, arrodillarte o gatear.
- Maneja animales de varios tamaños y temperamentos, con posible exposición a alérgenos y enfermedades zoonóticas.
- Diploma de secundaria o equivalente.
- Experiencia en un refugio de animales, guardería, zoológico o clínica veterinaria preferida.
- Certificación de Eutanasia por Inyección (EBI) requerida al momento de la contratación o capacidad para obtenerla dentro de un año.
- Fuertes habilidades de comunicación y habilidades matemáticas básicas.
- Conocimiento de cuidado veterinario/salud animal es un plus.
