Core ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:
- Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established protocols and policies.
- Develop and oversee patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating changes as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and manage discharge planning needs.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer. Accepted from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Illinois Board of Nursing required prior to employment.
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at the time of hire.
