Job Summary

Discovery Behavioral Health is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our treatment team, you will play a vital role in supporting patients through their treatment experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist and support patients through the entire treatment experience from admission through discharge.
  • Ensure patient safety and provide milieu interventions as needed.
  • Lead psychoeducational groups and support patients as they navigate the treatment process.
  • Monitor patients and communicate with the treatment team to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university OR two years of experience in a mental health setting or working with adolescents.
  • Current Driver's License in good standing.
  • CPI and CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of employment.
