Job Title: Mobile Crisis Clinician

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a skilled Mobile Crisis Clinician to join our team. As a Mobile Crisis Clinician, you will provide critical intervention for individuals in crisis, working to empower families and develop strategies to establish realistic goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct crisis intervention and safety planning to assist clients in overcoming difficulties that led to the crisis.
  • Collaborate with other service providers in the community to establish needed services for individuals and families.
  • Provide education to families and significant others regarding mental illness and how to support individuals.
  • Provide flexible therapeutic and follow-up services with an interactive approach, documenting therapeutic interventions in client records.
  • Work independently and in a team setting during the treatment process, ensuring provision and coordination of services and appropriate discharge planning.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work, or psychology required.
  • Two years' experience working directly with children and families, preferably with children who are victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, or youth who have been adjudicated delinquent and are emotionally disturbed.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to community settings in the Central Florida area.
  • Ability to live in Orange, Osceola, or Seminole county to respond to crisis calls within required time frame.
