Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Clinical Instructor - Staff Education. As a key member of our hospital's education team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our nursing staff receives the highest quality education and training to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with the development and implementation of in-service programs, orientation, and skills training for nurses and other clinical staff.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff and management on clinical best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with hospital departments to ensure seamless integration of education and training initiatives.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Kentucky or a multistate compact status.
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience, with a preference for experience as a Clinical Instructor.
  • Certification as an instructor with the American Heart Association in BLS, PALS, and/or ACLS.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
