Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement patient care plans and assess patients' physical and mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team, including Psychiatrists, Therapists, and Dietitians, to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure their needs are met and they are informed about their care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred; Registered Nurse licensed by State Board of Nursing in the state of employment.
  • American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within thirty (30) days of date-of-hire.
  • Formal training in management of the aggressive patient required within sixty (60) days of date-of-hire.
  • Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
