Barback Assistant

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Barback to join our team at Embassy Suites Denton. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bars and service areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a passion for service and maintain a guest-first focus.
• Keep bars and service areas fully stocked with necessary items, including juice, citrus, and garnishes.
• Restock beer, wine, and spirits as needed, and change beer kegs and refill ice wells.
• Clean and sanitize all glassware and utensils, and replenish cleaning towels and other bar supplies.
• Wipe down and move tables, clean bar counters, furniture, and table areas, and clean up spills and broken glass.
• Run food and clear plates and glassware, and assist with other tasks as needed or requested.

Requirements

• Minimum of one year of barback, bartending, or relevant experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old and certified to serve alcohol as directed by state and local laws.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure, with a pleasant and professional demeanor and a neat and clean appearance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work well with and motivate a variety of personality types.

Working Conditions
