Job Summary

  • Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor and manage critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions, including those recovering from cardiac surgeries or interventions.
  2. Administer complex medications and treatments according to established protocols.
  3. Provide life-saving interventions during emergencies, such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
  4. Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.

The Registered Nurse in the CVICU will work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient needs and adapting to changing situations. This role requires advanced nursing skills, critical thinking, and excellent communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week, along with tax-free stipends and comprehensive benefits. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $120,000-$140,000.
