Job Overview

At FastSigns Cape Cod, we are seeking a highly skilled Sign Production Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for applying vinyl graphics and images to predetermined substrates using computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images.

Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply vinyl graphics and images to predetermined substrates using computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images
  • Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc.
  • Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, utilizing techniques that vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
  • Operate and maintain printer(s) to ensure high-quality output
  • Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting work orders and proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
  • Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in sign production preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time (4 hours or more)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
  • Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-and-forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate
  • Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work
