Responsibilities:
The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in kitchen environments. Key duties include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen work areas, including surfaces and equipment.
- Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards through regular sweeping and mopping of floors.
- Washing worktables, walls, and food preparation surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
- Managing waste disposal by removing trash and cleaning garbage containers.
- Assisting in the organization and transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and operational areas.
- Supporting banquet setups and front-of-house arrangements as needed.
- Distributing utensils and portable equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Adhering to established sanitation and safety protocols.
- Performing additional tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations.
Qualifications:
