Responsibilities:
The Kitchen Sanitation Specialist is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in kitchen environments. Key duties include:
  • Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen work areas, including surfaces and equipment.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards through regular sweeping and mopping of floors.
  • Washing worktables, walls, and food preparation surfaces to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Managing waste disposal by removing trash and cleaning garbage containers.
  • Assisting in the organization and transfer of supplies and equipment between storage and operational areas.
  • Supporting banquet setups and front-of-house arrangements as needed.
  • Distributing utensils and portable equipment to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Adhering to established sanitation and safety protocols.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned to support kitchen operations.
