Job Title: Weekend & Holiday Dispensing Nurse

We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team as a Dispensing Nurse. As a Dispensing Nurse, you will play a crucial role in dispensing prescribed medications to patients in a comfortable outpatient clinic setting.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer daily medications to patients in accordance with program policies and medical protocols.
  • Maintain dispensing equipment, manage medication inventory, and report patient treatment information.
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and reports as required by company protocol, federal, and state regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards for the distribution and storage of controlled substances.
  • Order, receive, and stock medication in accordance with DEA and state regulations.
  • Provide daily assessments of patients and assist in orienting new nursing staff.
Qualifications:
  • Current and good standing LPN/LVN license in the State of California.
  • Current CPR certification required.
  • EMR and computer proficiency desired.
  • Experience in chemical dependency preferred.
  • Satisfactory drug screen and criminal background check.
