We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an outpatient setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
- Prepare patients for provider evaluations, including obtaining specimens, positioning for exams, and assisting during procedures.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including exam rooms and lab areas.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Provide patient education and support, including lab results, medication instructions, and follow-up care.
- Assist with referral authorizations and lab procedures.
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
- Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia (LPN).
- One year of experience in a physician office setting preferred.
- AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
