Job Title: Overnight Licensed Vocational Nurse

Newport Healthcare is a nationwide behavioral healthcare organization dedicated to transforming young lives through evidence-based care. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Overnight Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Overnight LVN provides on-site nursing and attendant care to patients in Newport Healthcare facilities. This role requires a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care and nursing services to patients as prescribed by program regulations and individual treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, including medication administration and medical charts.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' chronic health conditions, respiratory distress, and seizures, and report findings to the RN/Medical Director.
  • Screen patients for medical and dental exams and schedule appointments as needed.
  • Comply with all reporting requirements, biohazard program requirements, and medical protocols.
Requirements:
  • Current LPN/LVN license in the state of employment.
  • Ability to work a night shift schedule (Sun-Thur 10:30pm-7am).
