We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Operating Room Technician to join our team at RWJBarnabas Health. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance in the operating room, assisting nursing and surgical staff with direct patient care activities, and participating in staff, patient, and/or family education.
Responsibilities:
- Assist nursing and surgical staff with direct patient care activities
- Provide technical assistance in the operating room
- Participate in staff, patient, and/or family education
- Assist with departmental work as assigned
Requirements:
- High School graduate
- Completion of an O.R. Technician training program
- Certification by the Association of Surgery Technologists is required
- BLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year experience
