Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care - (RRT - NICU)

AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join their team in Orlando, Florida. This is a travel assignment that offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist to work in our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory care, with experience in high-frequency jet ventilation and neonatal patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the overall success of the unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU
  • Operate high-frequency jet ventilators and other respiratory equipment
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct blood gas analysis and other diagnostic tests as needed
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of the unit
Requirements:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • 2+ years of experience in NICU settings
  • Experience with high-frequency jet ventilation and neonatal patient care
  • NRP and PALS certifications
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
