Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct field investigations and assist in the organization of geotechnical assessments.
  • Log geotechnical borings and test pits, ensuring accurate soil and rock classification.
  • Coordinate laboratory testing and perform engineering analyses under professional supervision.
  • Prepare comprehensive geotechnical reports and collaborate with design teams to integrate geotechnical considerations into site designs.
  • Support earthwork and foundation construction observation efforts.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, or Geology with GIT or EIT certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with geotechnical laboratory testing, site grading, erosion control, and stormwater management.
  • Familiarity with software such as gINT, Lpile, SlopeW, and CAD.
  • A Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering is advantageous.
