Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric Unit at Terre Haute Regional Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families.

The successful candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care as a member of our interdisciplinary team. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a compassionate approach to care.

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with psychiatric conditions, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their stay.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
• Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to manage challenging situations effectively.
• Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate them on patient care and support needs.

• CURRENT Indiana RN licensure or active Compact State RN licensure.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (RN).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• BLS Certification.
• Crisis Prevention Certification training completion within 30 days of hire.
