We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Northern Arizona Healthcare Corporation. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for the daily management and delivery of radiation therapy using record and verify systems for various treatment techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiation treatment according to department policies and procedures.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide input to the continuity of care.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Dosimetry calculations and radiation treatment parameters.
- Operate Linear Accelerators safely and effectively.
- Measure electron block outputs and construct accurate patient blocking materials.
- Apply and treat with the SDX machine.
- Assist in AccuBoost treatment and HDR treatments.
- Verify treatment plans with a second therapist and Medical Physicist.
- Respond to emergency or crisis situations.
- Check daily and weekly charges.
- Establish contact with patients and their families.
- Graduate from an ARRT certified program.
- Arizona Radiation Therapist License.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS/RQI (American Heart Association) certification.
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Radiation Therapist.
