Job Summary:

CMU Medical Education Partners is seeking a highly skilled Colorectal Surgeon to join our faculty team. As a key member of our academic department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching and mentoring residents and medical students, and contributing to the growth of our clinically oriented academic practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a clinical setting, with a focus on colorectal surgery
  • Teach and mentor residents and medical students in a clinical environment
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of academic programs and initiatives
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Engage in scholarly activities, including research and publication

Requirements:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Fellowship training in colorectal surgery
  • Board certification or eligibility in colorectal surgery
  • State of Michigan licensure or eligibility
  • Controlled substance license
  • Leadership or educational experience preferred
