We are seeking a Seasonal Cashier to join our team at Michaels Stores. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide fast and friendly checkout experiences for customers
- Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor and stock rooms
- Assist customers with finding products and answering questions
- Participate in visual merchandising and store recovery efforts
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
