AO Racing is a global racing team with a strong presence in the world of professional sports car racing, competing in IMSA, The World Endurance Championship, and The European Le Mans Series.

We are a rapidly expanding team since our inception in 2022, now fielding a 2-car Porsche GTD (Rexy) and Oreca LMP2 (Spike) program.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year.

Job Description

As a GTD Mechanic, you will be responsible for collaborating with mechanics, race engineers, managers, and other supporting team members to efficiently build exceptional race cars.

Your duties will include traveling with the team to races and tests, ensuring the proper functioning of the race car for successful on-track performance.

Assisting in scheduling build plans and service intervals, maintaining a thorough understanding of technical specifications and event procedures.

Safely operating equipment according to recommended safety specifications.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This role requires experience as a Mechanic on Porsche GT3R (or similar), in IMSA, WEC or European Le Mans.

You should have a comprehensive understanding of race car setup specifications.

Excellent communication skills.

Proficiency in interpreting and following setup designs.

Mechanical knowledge encompassing components, electronics, and the structural framework of race cars.
