Role Summary:The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the upkeep and repair of machinery, buildings, and equipment. This role encompasses the maintenance of electrical systems, cranes, plumbing, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), along with other essential building systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Monitor and inspect equipment during operation to identify potential issues, damage, or wear.
- Perform repairs and maintenance to ensure optimal functioning of machines and equipment.
- Replace or fix malfunctioning components of machinery and equipment.
- Dismantle machinery to access parts for repair or replacement.
- Assess parts for defects, including breakage or excessive wear.
- Install and change parts in accordance with specifications.
- Reassemble equipment post-inspection or repair.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Service and calibrate electronic equipment, ensuring they operate correctly.
- Operate vehicles and mechanized devices, including forklifts and cranes.
- Ability to operate and maintain overhead cranes.
- Proficient in using forklifts and boom lifts.
- Knowledgeable in plumbing, electrical systems, and HVAC maintenance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Dependable and responsible in fulfilling job duties.
- Proactive in taking on responsibilities and challenges.
- Adept at identifying issues and determining necessary repairs.
- Familiarity with the operation and routine maintenance of machinery and vehicles.
- Proficient in the use of tools and equipment related to facility maintenance.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for operating motor vehicles.
- Must be capable of performing physical repairs as needed.
- Ability to sit, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, and climb.
- No fear of heights is required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds frequently.
