Junior Credit Analyst

As a Junior Credit Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our senior banking professionals in the continuous assessment of creditworthiness for both existing and potential clients within the Commercial Banking Division.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the evaluation of financial statements and credit profiles.
- Compile summaries related to relationships, collateral, loan compliance, and profitability.
- Conduct industry research to inform lending decisions.
- Draft financial analysis reports and loan memorandums.
- Participate in loan committee meetings, presenting credit proposals as required.
- Engage in relationship management and contribute to the marketing and negotiation of new business opportunities.
This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of various lending sectors and to cultivate the necessary skills for effective credit relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is mandatory.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong interpersonal abilities with a keen understanding of credit management and commercial lending practices.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and operate effectively in a sensitive environment.
- High attention to detail, coupled with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent use of computer screens and report analysis.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, telephones, and copiers.
- Regularly required to sit, use hands for typing, and communicate effectively.
- Occasional lifting of items up to 5 pounds.
