About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists in providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications, including filling and labeling prescriptions, and preparing medications for patients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medication inventory, including ordering and receiving medications from wholesalers and vendors.
  • Assist with medication management, including restocking Pyxis devices and medication cabinets, and resolving Pyxis drawer errors.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of medications to patients.
Requirements
  • Pharmacy Technician Registration (PTCB/CPHT) certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of recent hospital pharmacy technical experience or several years of relevant pharmacy experience
