Job Title: Registered Nurse, Outpatient Infusion Center

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the Outpatient Infusion Center at Helen F. Graham in Newark, DE.

About the Role:

This is a casual position, requiring one 8-hour shift per week, with the flexibility to provide patient coverage as needed. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and infusion treatments, implanted port flushes, and lab draws. You will also provide cancer treatment-related assessments and education to patients.

Requirements:
  • Delaware RN License
  • BSN required; or commitment to obtain within three years of hire
  • BLS Certification
  • Two years of nursing experience; oncology experience preferred
  • Advanced nursing degree or certification as an Oncology Nurse (OCN) preferred
Working Conditions:

Potential exposure to infectious diseases, blood-borne pathogens, and body fluids. Rotation/travel to satellite facilities required.

Physical Demands:

Standing, sitting, and walking all day. Ability to transfer patients from stretcher to stretcher or treatment table. Weight depends upon the patient - from 100 lbs.+, approximately three times per day.
