Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Die Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Kentucky. As a key member of our Die Maintenance Department, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on casting dies in accordance with standards.

Responsibilities
  • Perform welding, grinding, and machining operations to maintain and repair dies.
  • Operate cranes and other equipment to move and position dies.
  • Support in-line tryouts and line calls of dies.
  • Carry out emergency repairs as needed.
  • Perform die modifications to improve surface quality and accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve production goals.
Requirements
  • 2-year associate's degree in a related field and 1 year of industrial maintenance experience or 3 years of industrial maintenance/military experience.
  • Experience building and maintaining high-volume stamping dies, welding ability, spotting ability, and hand-finishing skills.
  • Knowledge of cutting and forming sheet metal stamping operations.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
