Senior Automotive Mechanic Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and Repair Vehicle Electrical Systems: Diagnose and repair complex electrical issues on our vehicles, ensuring proper operation and safety.
- Perform Routine Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements, as well as perform repairs on diesel and gas vehicles.
- Engine Diagnostics and Repair: Diagnose and repair engine issues, including engine overhauls and rebuilds.
- Body and Frame Repair: Repair and replace body panels, frames, and fiberglass components.
- Welding and Fabrication: Perform welding and fabrication tasks to repair and maintain vehicle components.
- Diagnostic and Repair of Vehicle Systems: Diagnose and repair issues with vehicle systems, including alternators, starters, batteries, brakes, suspension, steering, and hydraulics.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures: Adhere to established procedures and protocols for maintenance and repair tasks.
- Communication and Teamwork: Maintain open communication with supervisors and team members, providing updates on maintenance and repair tasks.
Requirements:
- Detail-Oriented and Organized: Possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, bend, lift heavy objects, and move frequently throughout the workday.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Adaptability and Stress Management: Ability to adapt to changing environments and manage stress in high-pressure situations.
- Computer Literacy: Basic computer skills and familiarity with maintenance management software.
- Experience and Certifications: 4-5 years of experience in mechanical or electrical repair, with ASE certification (Master Tech) or accredited technical certification.
Additional Requirements:
- Commercial Driver's License: Obtain a commercial driver's license (Class A or B) within 60 days of employment.
- SIDA Clearance: Obtain SIDA clearance for operation on the Airport Operations Area.
- Background Check and Drug Screen: Pass a background check, TSA check, and drug screen.
- Flexibility and Availability: Availability to work assigned schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to work overtime as needed.
