Job Summary:

DT Professional Services is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to support our Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Corona Division customer in Norco, California. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining complex systems and infrastructure critical to U.S. Navy operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering, with experience in combat, communication, navigation, and surveillance systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that systems meet Navy operational requirements and function reliably in mission-critical environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use multiple databases to determine RM&A metrics and assess systems readiness
  • Combine and integrate all failure data to analyze and assess a single system, multi-system, or system of systems readiness
  • Develop and document a single system or system of systems reliability models and criteria for scoring system failure events
  • Research and create assessment criteria for Navy systems
  • Use readiness assessment tools, U.S. Navy or Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS)
  • Learn and use the established data editing process, including data reviews, data extraction, and data loading

Basic Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Relevant Engineering Degree and 2-3 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels
  • Knowledge of probability theory and its application in the field of reliability, maintainability, and availability (RM&A)
  • Knowledge of Navy organization, structure, ship classes, and shipboard systems
  • Have analytical and problem-solving skills, able to manage complex projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Must be able to work on site in Norco, California

The compensation range for this position is $65,000 - $69,000 annually.
