Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to provide leadership and technical expertise within our electrical discipline. As a key member of our team, you will contribute significantly to a variety of impactful projects across different sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional leadership for the electrical engineering team, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting their professional development through tailored growth plans.
- Collaborate with Project Managers on essential aspects such as budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Oversee the planning and design of electrical systems for diverse projects, including healthcare, education, and commercial facilities.
- Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, ensuring effective communication and project execution.
- Implement and uphold technical standards, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
- Identify training opportunities and recommend professional development for team members.
- Review and assess MEP systems designed by others, engaging with regulatory officials and contractors as necessary.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP engineering, focusing on infrastructure and building systems.
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
- Current Professional Engineering (PE) license.
- Familiarity with OHSPD (HCAI) is advantageous.
- Proven ability to mentor and review the work of less experienced engineers, ensuring quality control.
- Significant experience in sustainable design is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in REVIT is essential, with LEED AP BD+C and WELL certifications considered a plus.
