Washington, United States Ampplacement Full time

Are you passionate about childcare and eager to make a difference in the lives of families?

Ampplacement, a reputable in-home childcare agency, is seeking two exceptional Corporate Nanny/Sitters to join our BackupCare division.

We provide professional, reliable, and engaging childcare services to busy families, daycares, churches, and private schools in the DC, MD, and VA areas.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be physically active, and have at least 2-3 years of professional childcare experience. Previous experience in childcare or early childhood education is preferred.

The responsibilities of this position include supervising and engaging children in age-appropriate activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times, planning outdoor activities (weather permitting), communicating with parents and guardians, maintaining a clean environment, and providing transportation for children.

This is an on-call position that offers flexibility and potential for regular work hours between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday through Friday. The starting salary is $18.00 per hour, with opportunities for higher pay rates for private clients.

We are committed to providing quality in-home and facility-based backup childcare and educational support. Our caregivers are required to maintain an Uber or Lyft account for emergency car issues, be COVID-19 vaccinated, and hold CPR and First Aid certifications or be willing to become certified.

If you love playing with, caring for, and guiding children's development, we encourage you to apply. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and make a positive impact in the lives of children and families.

To succeed in this role, you must be able to lift small children (up to 50 pounds) and participate in extended periods of outdoor activities. You should also be comfortable working in various locations, including daycares, hotels, and conference centers.
