About the Role

The Foreman oversees field crews engaged in the installation, testing, and repair of aerial and underground utilities, fixtures, and equipment. This role involves ensuring that all work is performed safely and in compliance with project specifications and industry regulations. The Foreman is responsible for planning daily work schedules, providing on-site training and support to crew members, and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct multiple crews working on distribution construction, maintenance, and repair projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified standards.
  • Enforce compliance with safety regulations and conduct safety meetings and inspections to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Ensure proper allocation of personnel, materials, and equipment to meet project demands, including scheduling and dispatching crews.
  • Monitor work quality to ensure all work adheres to industry standards, specifications, and company policies.
  • Track project milestones, assess performance, and adjust plans or resources as necessary to stay on schedule.
  • Train, mentor, and develop linemen, apprentices, and other crew members to improve performance and ensure they follow best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • May be required to relocate as work requirements demand.
  • 6+ years in the trade with at least 1+ year working as a Foreman.
  • Valid Driver's License and a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
