The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing various functions related to the management of transportation and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizes and manages transportation, warehousing, or distribution activities in compliance with organizational policies and relevant regulations.
  • Implements distribution operations according to company protocols, supervises personnel in dispatching items upon order, and maintains necessary distribution records for oversight.
  • Evaluates current distribution workflows and suggests, develops, and executes enhancements to these processes.
  • Ensures that all components or products are dispatched to clients efficiently.
  • Tracks shipping progress and addresses vendor inquiries regarding shipment status.
  • Collaborates with Warehouse or Production teams to secure supplies for distribution.
  • Works alongside the transportation team to coordinate collection and delivery schedules.
  • Engages with cross-departmental teams to resolve billing and shipping discrepancies.
  • Contributes to monitoring carrier performance and adherence to service standards.
  • Aids in the investigation and resolution of shipping challenges as they occur.
  • Performs additional tasks as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Capability to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to visually inspect work for quality and differentiate colors.
