Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Packaging Machine Operator to join our production team at Lactalis American Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our filling and packaging equipment to ensure high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate filling and packaging equipment, adhering to quality assurance, productivity, OSHA, and safety standards.
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment for proper cleaning and sanitizing, and operate according to manufacturer instructions.
  • Monitor and control the flow of product through the machine.
  • Adhere to established testing procedures and provide required samples to the laboratory for appraisal.
  • Maintain food safety and quality through completing job tasks and maintaining a clean work area.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating filling machines is preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
