Job Summary: At Crothall Laundry and Linen Services, we are seeking a skilled Logistics and Transportation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate deliveries of soil to our customers while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

  • Develop and maintain effective transportation routes and schedules to ensure efficient delivery times.
  • Maintain a clean and organized appearance, adhering to company uniform standards at all times.
  • Report any mechanical issues with vehicles promptly to the chief engineer for repair or maintenance.
  • Ensure proper DOT documentation and certification are maintained and up-to-date.
  • Follow all safety procedures and protocols when handling equipment and materials.
  • Report any customer service or satisfaction concerns to management for prompt resolution.


Requirements and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and be able to pass a DOT physical examination. You should also be able to lift 50 pounds and push/pull a 700-pound wheeled cart. Other essential qualifications include:

  • Loading and unloading linen carts at company and customer locations, accurately tagging each cart as needed.
  • Completing all required paperwork and logs daily, including Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection Reports.
  • Weighing and delivering soil to the soil room, ensuring accurate weights and timely delivery.
  • Disinfecting vehicles after each soil pickup to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Maintaining the company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner, adhering to company standards.
  • Maintaining a neat and professional appearance at all times.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management to support the team's goals and objectives.
