Job Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care in a Cardiac Telemetry unit, managing patients with cardiac conditions and monitoring their vital signs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry or a related field.
- Current RN licensure and ACLS, BCLS, and NIH certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Cardiac Telemetry unit with a high patient turnover rate, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
- Use of Pyxis and Dimensions (EPIC) systems for medication management and patient care.
- Team lead support for admissions and discharges.
- Internal notes: Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty.
- Competitive pay package based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.
- Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
