About Us - Baptist Hospitalist Team
As a Hospitalist within Baptist Health, you will play a crucial role in the largest healthcare system in Northeast Florida, known for its nationally recognized facilities and a highly integrated physician network. Our organization offers a wide range of distinguished sub-specialty services, cutting-edge facilities, and the most comprehensive primary care network in the region, allowing physicians to concentrate on delivering exceptional patient care while benefiting from a supportive infrastructure and a mission-driven environment.
What to Expect
- Competitive base salary of $266,000 with performance-based bonuses
- Sign-on bonus of $25,000
- Retention bonus of $25,000 after the second year
- 7 days on, 7 days off work schedule
- Manage an average of 15 patients and handle 35 admissions nightly
- 36-bed Medical/Surgical unit and 8-bed Acute Admission Unit
- Access to extensive specialist support
- Physician-led and professionally managed organization
- Modernized, state-of-the-art hospital facilities
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Active and unrestricted medical license
- Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a minimum of 3 years of Hospitalist experience
- Willingness to develop procedural skills; training available for intubation, moderate sedation, central lines, and thoracentesis
- Current ACLS certification; training provided if necessary
