  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide individualized and small group instruction to accommodate the needs of each student.
  • Evaluate student progress and adjust instruction to meet the needs of each student.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in physical education and special education.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in physical education or a related field.
  • State teaching license and/or certification in physical education.
  • Experience working with students with diverse needs and abilities.
  • Knowledge of state and national content standards for physical education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
