Retail Art Framer

We are seeking a skilled and creative Retail Art Framer to join our team at Michaels. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, creating memorable framing solutions, and maintaining a safe and clean store environment.

• Provide personalized customer service, building relationships with customers and helping them find the perfect framing solution.
• Operate framing equipment, including glass cutters and heat presses, to create high-quality framing solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas.
• Support shrink and safety programs, adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
• Participate in truck unloading and stocking processes, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of merchandise.
• Operate cash registers and execute cash handling to standards.
• Assist customers with product location and provide solutions to meet their needs.
• Support Omni-channel processes, including online and in-store sales.

• Basic computer skills and measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutters.

• Retail experience, preferably in a framing or visual merchandising role.
• Experience selling products and/or services to customers.

This role is based in a public retail store setting, with a climate-controlled environment. Some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, and outdoor work may be required for tasks such as retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks.
