We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a circulating nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our OR department, providing exceptional patient care, and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR staff to ensure efficient and safe surgical procedures.
- Monitor and maintain aseptic technique, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide education and support to patients and families, promoting informed decision-making and empowerment.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license
- Current BLS certification
- At least 2 years of experience as an OR nurse
