About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Select Medical. As a valued member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

Responsibilities
  • Treat patients with complex needs and challenging diagnoses, developing specialized skills and expertise.
  • Participate in discharge planning, including placement, patient/family education, and adaptive equipment.
  • Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants and OT/COTA students, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct individual patient therapy regimens, monitoring patient response and modifying treatment as needed.
  • Complete accurate documentation according to department policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental, hospital, and community continuing education seminars and in-services.
Qualifications
  • Valid, current license in the State in which practicing.
  • BLS required upon hire.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy.
  • Eligibility to take or has passed the examination for Occupational Therapists administered by the NBCOT.
  • Successful completion of the National Registry Examination.
