About the Role">

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Technician to join our team in the Department of Physiology and Pharmacology at the University of Georgia. As a Research Technician, you will play a critical role in supporting the research efforts of Dr. Arthi Kanthasamy and her team.

Key Responsibilities">
  • Design and execute experimental procedures, including behavioral, neurobiochemical, and histological assays
  • Collect and analyze data, and present findings to colleagues and supervisor
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of research projects, including data collection and project management
  • Assist graduate students and other senior research personnel with their experiments
Qualifications">
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as biology, chemistry, or physics
  • Experience in scientific research, preferably in a laboratory setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Basic computer knowledge in MS Word and Excel
Compensation and Benefits">

The University of Georgia offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
